Educational Innovations and Emerging Technologies is a peer-reviewed, scholarly, international open-access journal. It publishes works that have the scope to substantively address issues in current education trends, challenges, and developments in educational technology likely to have an impact on learning, teaching, and creative inquiry. The aim of the journal is to highlight research that can leverage emerging technological innovations in the service of educational development, in order to contribute to ongoing and constantly evolving discussions regarding the purposes of education at the policy and practitioner levels.

The main purposes of educational innovation, as a process, are to achieve the greatest educational preparation by considering and applying emerging technologies, while encouraging the development of comprehensive creativity. As such, Educational Innovations and Emerging Technologies seeks to support works that attempt to systematically consider, explore, and investigate solutions to current educational issues and circumstances through the use of innovative emerging technology, and identify the possible impacts of these innovative approaches on educational systems across various time frames.
